The Eastern Region's experimental high speed push-pull set south of Newark on 22nd February 1968. BR Mk1 BSK coach E34500 was coverted to become a driving trailer and the set conducted a series of trials based at Doncaster. On this day, Cardiff Canton-based Brush Type 4 No. D1938 was propelling the test working.
