The Network Rail High Speed Test Train heads through the Aire Valley on 21st March 2021, operating as the 10.30 Derby RTC - Heaton which operated via Leeds, Skipton, Settle to Carlisle then retraced its outbound route back to Leeds before running via York to Heaton. Class 43 power cars No. 43062 and recent acquisition No. 43299 were in charge and running over an hour early at this point.
