Brush Class 89 No. 89001 was restored to service in 1997 for GNER following a long period in store. The re-liveried locomotive is seen at Eaton Lane, south of Retford on 27th March 1998 heading the 1540 King's Cross to Bradford Forster Square service. It was taken out of service once more in 2000 and is presently at Barrow Hill being prepared for yet another life. 27.03.98
