Class 55 Deltic No. 55009 Alycidon makes its presence known at Liverpool Lime Street on 3rd December 1981. It passes round before heading the 13:05 service to York.
This diagram was regularly used during the final days of Deltic running especially for those 4 locomotives chosen to work the many final railtours ahead of complete withdrawal from BR.
