A stark autumn scene and bland colours as 1950-built Manor Class 4-6-0 'Dinmore Manor' No. 7820 returns to Winchcombe station on the Gloucestershire-Warwickshire heritage steam railway on 5th December 2020. Tinsel adorns the loco on the first day of Santa Experience specials running between Toddington and Winchcombe to the relief of GWSR, children and parents! Of note are four sets of signals, a rare sight except on preserved railway lines like this these days. Behind the loco is a concrete barrier installed at great expense to guard against further landslips in the cutting, and just visible in the distance is the entrance to 634 metre (693 yard) Greet Tunnel.
