EE Type 3 No. D6807 leads the 13:10 Whitemoor to Mottram Yard mixed freight near High Marnham on the LD&ECR line on 6th March 1965 and begins the climb towards Tuxford. Today, the formation from Tuxford to a point short of the signal box in the background forms part of Network Rail's single line test track. The locomotive past the signal box is waiting to exit the power station sidings.
