Times gone by. In 1964 Retford boasted a yard/station pilot, and on 28th May 1964, 350hp shunter No. D3620 was on station pilot duty, detaching a full brake from a Sheffield to Cleethorpes service. This locomotive was one of a batch of shunters fitted with Blackstone engines, and never received a TOPS number.
