Saphos Trains 'The White Rose' passes Burton Salmon on 22nd August 2020, headed by No. 46100 'Royal Scot'. The train was steam hauled throughout from Crewe to York via Warrington, Manchester Victoria and the Hope Valley. LMS 'Royal Scot' No. 46100 was deputising for BR Standard Pacific No. 70000 'Britannia' which had failed earlier in the week.
