Network Rail Class 97/3s No. 97303 and 97304 'John Tiley' work in 'top and tail' mode on the 01:50 Doncaster to Derby RTC test train, via Gascoigne Wood, Hatfield & Stainforth, Scunthorpe and Lenton Junction, and are seen passing Spondon on 1st August 2020, 80 minutes early as the train was reversed near Toton rather than a reversal and wait at Ilkeston Junction.
