DRS Class 37 No. 37407 Blackpool Tower arrives at Askham at 21:40 on 16th July 2020, with the 16:45 Carlisle - Blackpool North Network Rail test train. A complex schedule involves a run down the Cumbrian Coast via the Barrow avoiding line to Ulverston where the train reverses and travels back through Barrow to Askham where a further reversal occurs followed by a run to Carnforth via Barrow and various other routes in the North West. Classmate No. 37423 Spirit of the Lakes was on the rear.
