DRS Class 37 No. 37407 Blackpool Tower approaches Askam at 21.40 on 16th July 2020, with the 16.45 Carlisle - Blackpool North Network Rail test train. A complex schedule involves a run down the Cumbrian Coast via the Barrow avoiding line to Ulverston where the train reverses and travels back through Barrow to Askam where a further reversal occurs followed by a run to Carnforth via Barrow and various other routes in the North West.
