Instead of the more usual Class 73/9s, Colas Rail Class 37/5 No. 37610 was used on the Merseyrail Northern lines test train, the 23:02 Crewe to Derby RTC working, here seen passing Marston on Dove on 11th July 2020, and consequently only Bootle, Ormskirk, and Kirkby were visited, and not Southport nor Hunts Cross. DBSO No. 9703 was on the rear of this working.
