Class 55 No. 55005 The Prince of Wales`s own Regiment of Yorkshire, is pictured at Doncaster on 23rd August 1980, attaching the 00.50 Leeds-King's Cross portion onto the 22.55 Newcastle-King's service. This process was time comsuming but with slack timings for overnight services this was acceptable. Happy Days..
