Class 45 Peak No. 45122 awaits its next turn of duty at Birmingham New Street on 28th July 1980. Introduced in 1960 as D11, this was the first of the 127 Class 45s to be built. Withdrawn in October 1987, the locomotive was scrapped in February 1994.
