Class 47 No. 47544 passes Over Whitacre Junction with a Derby to Birmingham service late afternoon on 5th March 1980 and getting very foggy and cold and the frost was thick on the coach roofs. The trains were backing up off the Nuneaton line with Class 25s No. 25115 on ballast and 25212 on tanks.
