The only remaining prototype EE diesel shunter No. D0226 of only 2 built at Vulcan foundry in 1956 departs Keighley on Enthusiasts Day 23rd March 1980. It was all quiet on the roads back then and possible to park my 1600E Cortina right opposite the footpath. Impossible now any day.
