Day 2 of Transport-for-Wales' class 769 proving runs on 17th March 2020, was more successful than the previous day. This time No. 769008 made it to Rhymney, keeping to schedule all the way, and is seen at Caerphilly on its return. The afternoon run, however, was turned around at Heath Junction, as happened on Day 1.
