SR Merchant Navy class No. 35018 British India Line approaches Long Preston on 29th February 2020, with the 14.13 Carlisle - Euston, The Cumbrian Mountain Express, which it was due to work as far as Preston. Difficulties were encountered between Hellifield and Blackburn and the train was two hours late reaching Preston and nearly three hours late on arrival back at Euston.
