Sunday 8th December 2019 saw the start of the new Avanti West Coast franchise. To launch the new franchise Class 390 No. 390156 was vinyled in the new companies livery before a working a launch special on 9th December 2019 from London to Glasgow. Here the the special working heads for Glasgow as it passes Wigan North Western with specially invited guests on board
