On the 30th August 2019 a rare sight at York as two freight trains pass within he station. Heading north with a Doncaster Up Decoy yard to Millerhill is Colas Class 70 No. 70806 while DB Class 66/0 No. 66103 approaches heading south with the Wilton to Knowsley empty bin working.
