The East Lancs Railway held a four day West Country weekend over the August Bank Holiday to celebrate the line's acquisition of Bulleid West Country class Pacific No. 34092 City of Wells. No. 34046 Braunton, a rebuilt example of the class, appeared as visiting locomotive, and is seen here awaiting departure from Ramsbottom with the first northbound train on the final day of the event on 26th August 2019. Unfortunately this locomotive was failed with a broken brake block on its return to Bury and for the rest of the dayits duties were performed by Class 14 No. D9531.
