The end is in sight for Pacers apart from this unit. Northern Class 142 Pacer No. 142001 with No. 142058 on the rear arrives at Cherry Tree in Lancashire just outside Blackburn with the 09:16 Blackpool South to Colne service on 18th August 2019. This particular unit will be heading for The National Railway Museum after it's withdrawal at the end of the year.
