A rare sight of locomotives for the moment until TPE introduce the delayed Class 68 workings on this stretch of line. Due to track renewal work at Wakefield Kirkgate services were diverted through Dewsbury & Batley on 11th August 2019. Here, Freightliner Class 66/6 No. 66623 sporting the new livery hauls two classmates, Nos. 66591 and 66955 through Batley with a move from Basford Hall Crewe to Hunslet Leeds.
