A view taken at Manchester Piccadilly on 1st August 2019, focusing on the station operation, rather than the train. The narrow Platforms 13 & 14 at Manchester Piccadilly are now constantly marshalled by security and despatch personnel to help with the function and smooth operation at a busy section of the station. Not only yellow but red lines have been introduced to monitor customers, with a holding area located above the platforms. At the far end of the platform, Northern Class 195 No. 195121 stands ready to depart with a service to Barrow.
