Stabled outside the Training Centre in York station on 25th July 2019 are West Coast Class 37s Nos. 37685 Loch Arkaig and 37706. They would later relieve LMS Jubilee class No. 45699 Galatea off the Scarborough Spa Express which they will then return to Carnforth. Waiting on Platform 11 is LNER Mk4 DVT No. 82210. held due to overhead line damage north of Peterborough, although its service will soon be terminated here.
