LNER Azuma in trouble. Class 800 No. 800113 approaches Peterborough on 10th July 2019 with the 08.45 Leeds - King's Cross service. The train is running four hours late, having brought down the overhead wires at Tallington and caused extensive damage and a suspension of services in both directions which lasted eight hours. Having had its front pantograph removed by engineers, the bi-mode Azuma is running on its diesel engines at this point and, not surprisingly the service was terminated at Peterborough with passengers transferring to a waiting HST.
