Class 46 No. 46009 at Derby awaiting to depart with the 10:09 service to Western Supermare on 6th June 1981. The Class 46 was used in the crash testing on a nuclear flask at Old Dalby on 17th July 1984. Built as D146 in 1961, there was 56 of the class produced and three are preserved.
