On 8th June 2019, the West Somerset Railway operated a special celebratory evening service marking their 40th Anniversary. The 14 carriage train departed Bishops Lydeard for Minehead at 19:15 and returned at 22:00, double headed by Manor Class locomotives Nos. 7828 'Odney Manor' and 7802 'Bradley Manor'. Here the locomotives make preparations at Bishops Lydeard, backing on to the first four carriages.
