Class 40 No. 40012 "Aureol" is stabled at Swanwick Junction on 22nd April 2019. Its original number was D212 and it also carried the No. 97407 before final BR withdrawl in April 1986. The Class 40 arrived at MRC in March 1989 and made its first public run in preservation in July 1993.
