The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland ran its West Awake railtour on 13th April 2019 from Dublin to Ballina and Westport. Three 071 class locomotives featured: No. 075 + No. 082 worked the tour in multiple from Dublin to Claremorris, returning it later in the day, and No. 071 worked Claremorrris - Ballina - Claremorris - Westport - Claremorris. Here No. 071 waits to take over the tour at Claremorris.
