Usually, on the Swanage Railway a double headed scene of an 0-4-4T piloting a 4-4-0 engine is of Drummond M7 No. 30053 and T9 No. 30120. A very different combination is seen here as Caledonian Railway 439 Class 0-4-4T No. 419 pilots Drummond T9 4-4-0 No. 30120 with the pair working the 16:00 departure from Swanage to Norden past Afflington Farm on the second day of the Swanage Railways 2019 Spring Steam Up the 30th March 2019. The Caledonian Railway tank engine was visiting the Swanage Railway for this event from The Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway.
