Deputising for GWR 0-4-2T No. 1450, which was unable to appear in the gala, BR(W) Hawksworth 15xx 0-6-0PT No. 1501 leads GWR autotrailer No. 178 through the woods alongside Northwood Lane while working a local service to Highley on 15th March 2019, the opening day of the 2019 Severn Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala. As it is not fitted for autotrain working, the locomotive would have to run round at the end of its journey.
