Virgin Class 43 HST Power Car No. 43068, fitted with buffers, approaches Burton-on-Trent on 30th May 2000 with a Southbound cross-country service. (Classmate No. 43014 later to be part of the New Measurement Train was at the other end of the train.) 43068 was to become No. 43468 for Grand Central, and in 2019 is at work for East Midlands Trains.
