Instead of the usual Class 67s which were on RHTT duty, Colas Rail used their Class 37s No. 37099 Merl Evans and No. 37175 on the 09:48 Derby to Tyseley test train on 30th October 2018, seen passing Willington in Top-and-Tail mode with No. 37099 leading. This working did not visit the Coalville branch nor travel the usual tour around the West Midlands.
