Efforts have been made to have the closed station at Barlaston reopened and although to date the efforts have not been successful the Up Platform has recently being heightened and resurfaced so is it a case of watch this space as LNWR Class 350 No. 350130 speeds through on 13.02 Crewe-Euston on 17th October 2018
