GBRf operated BR Class 87/0 No. 87002 Royal Sovereign on the blocks at London Paddington on the evening of 20th September 2018 at the end of day 1 of the GBRf 2018 Out of the Ordinary charity railtour. This is understood to be the first AC Electric locomotive to have visited Brunels historic trainshed.
