DRS Class 66/3 No. 66301 Kingmoor TMD passes the site of the former Gisburn station with the 09.21 Mountsorrel - Carlisle Yard loaded ballast working on 2nd 5th September 2018. The station was opened by The Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1879 and closed in September 1962. In the background, Gisburn signalbox, also opened in 1879 and closed in March 1981 survives intact as a privately owned summerhouse.
