LNER A3 Class Pacific No. 60103 "Flying Scotsman", continues to draw the crowds 50 years to the day since the last steam-hauled scheduled service ran on the national network. Here, it is pictured at Carlisle on 4th August 2018, having jus arrived with the 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' from Carnforth. Because of the risk of fire it was assisted by Class 47/0 No. 47237.
