American Locomotive Co. massive Class K-4 2-8-4 No. 2705 was built in 1943 for Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad, named the Kanawhas Type and developed 83750 pounds tracive effort with booster. No. 2705 lasted until replaced by diesel power in 1955.
