Cross Country Turbostar Class 170 No. 170106 passes the previously little used Platform 1 at Barnt Green with the 11:45 Cardiff Central to Nottingham service on 5th April 2018. With the electrification of the line down the Lickey Incline to Bromsgrove this platform is likely to see regular service with the Cross City route.
