Great Western Railway maintained a good level of service on the route from Worcester to the south west, despite poor weather conditions, on 1st March 2018. The 12:51 Great Malvern to Weymouth service, worked by Class 158/9 No. 158952, is pictured passing Defford only slightly late. Unfortunately, most services would run into difficulties the next day.
