LBSCR Billinton E4 Class 0-6-2T No. 473 Birch Grove approaching Horsted Keynes Station awith a train from Kingscote. The 75 E4 Class locomotives were named after locations in Surrey and Sussex. Birch Grove is a small hamlet, some three miles from Horsted Keynes, that became famous in the 1950s as the home of the then Prime Minister Harold MacMillan.
