LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 No. 45212 has been standing in for the unavailable LNER Gresley Pacific No. 60009 in December 2017 on the 'Cathedral Express' charters, and on completion of these duties has returned to its base at Bury, seen here passing Rugeley on 23rd December 2017 with Mk1 support coach No. 99035 on a Southall to Castleton movement. No. 45305 is festively decorated with a smokebox wreath, tinsel on handrails, and note the Santa and snowman on the lights!
