BR 2-6-4T No. 80104 (Running as 80146) waits by the signal box at Swanage on 21st December 2017 for its next duty, the 13:40 Santa Special. Alongside (minus boiler) is LSWR M7 Class 0-4-4T No. 30053 which is undergoing its 10 year overhaul and SR Battle of Britain Class Pacific No. 34072 '257 Squadron' being steam tested. 34072 was initially expected to return to service in 2017, but this has been delayed.
