In a scene more reminiscent of 1967 than 2017, Bulleid Battle of Britain Pacific No. 34070 "Manston" is seen at Swanage devoid of nameplates and smokebox door number plate on December 7th 2017. The loco which was withdrawn following a rough shunt earlier in the year is scheduled to enter Herston Works shortly for overhaul.
