BR built Ivatt Class 4 Mogul No. 43106 leads a short train formed of GWR Toplight stock up the gradient towards Foley Park tunnel on 3rd December 2017. This train was provided for the benefit of volunteers from the northern end of the line who would spend the day working on the Santa Special services. Rebuilt Bulleid West Country Class Pacific No. 34017 Taw Valley is just visible at the tail of the train.
