Its just after midnight at a deserted Whitlocks End on 3rd October 2017 and Network Rail Class 97 No. 97301 has just brought in an ultrasonic test train from Derby 35 minutes late. Having been driven off the platform end the loco could not be photographed However, DBSO No. 9701 was in a prime position and is seen ready to lead the train back into Birmingham, with a final destination of Crewe.
