Dartmouth Railway Station, opened in 1864 by the Dartmouth and Torbay Railway, is most unusual as it has never been served by trains. Built on the quayside at Dartmouth it was the booking office for trains departing from Kingswear across the River Dart, and the terminus for the river ferry. Closed in 1972 the station building, seen here on 7th September 2017, is in use as a restaurant and is painted in GWR colours.
