On 3rd July 2017, the 13.13 Network Rail Test Train from Derby RTC to Crewe LNWR eases through Peak Forest on its way to Buxton where it will reverse and continue its circular route. Class 73/9 No. 73961 Alison is at the rear of the train with classmate No. 73964 Jeanette leading and DB Cargp Class 66/0 No. 66200 shunting in the adjacent sidings.
