On the 1st & 2nd July 2017, the North Norfolk Railway held a Vintage Transport Weekend. Visiting from Bala Lake Railway was 'Alice', a Hunslet 2ft gauge loco No. 780 running on a length of track laid out on Holt yard. A planned photo shoot was set up with B12 No. 8572 after it arrived from Sheringham and the model engineers also quickly put a 3.5 inch gauge Stanier Mogul No. 2954 in place (but not in steam). Both locos caught with whistles blowing.
